LiftMaster service in Palm Beach County.

Authorized LiftMaster service from our Lantana and Loxahatchee offices. Same-day service. Manufacturer warranty registered to your address.

LiftMaster is the most-installed garage door opener brand in Palm Beach County by a wide margin — and the brand we recommend for most new installs. They're owned by Chamberlain Group (same parent as Chamberlain residential openers and the MyQ smart-home platform). LiftMaster builds for the professional installer market: stronger motors, longer warranties, better build quality than the Chamberlain residential line.

We service every LiftMaster opener manufactured since the 1990s — chain-drives, belt-drives, screw-drives, and the newer jackshaft units. The jackshaft is our default new-install choice for PBC: wall-mounted (frees up garage ceiling), MyQ Wi-Fi built-in, hardwired battery backup (FL Code required), ultra-quiet operation. About $649-$849 fully installed.

Common LiftMaster issues we fix: logic-board damage from lightning ($185-$295), gear-kit replacement at 15-year mark ($145-$225), Security+ 2.0 remote pairing, MyQ setup and Wi-Fi range troubleshooting, battery backup replacement ($145). Most repairs same-day, parts on the truck.

About LiftMaster

Why LiftMaster is the FL building-code default.

LiftMaster is the residential garage door opener brand owned by Chamberlain Group, headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois. They've been the dominant US residential opener since the 1980s. Two reasons we install more LiftMaster than any other opener brand in Palm Beach County: battery backup compliance with Florida building code (mandatory on new installs after 2019), and the MyQ smart-home ecosystem that lets homeowners share garage access with housekeepers, contractors, and Amazon delivery without sharing house keys.

The models we install most.

  • LiftMaster wall-mount Wi-Fi — premium. Mounts on the wall beside the door, freeing ceiling space. Frees the headroom for taller vehicles. Lifetime motor warranty.
  • LiftMaster belt-drive with Wi-Fi and battery backup — best whisper-quiet option. Required FL building-code battery backup included. Our top pick if the garage shares a wall with a bedroom.
  • LiftMaster chain-drive — budget. Same Chamberlain mechanics, no smart features. Reliable but noisier.

Battery backup is FL law, not optional.

Florida HB 491 (effective 2019) requires battery backup on all new residential opener installations and all replacements after that date. The reason: hurricane evacuation. Manual emergency releases on dead openers fail during high-wind events, trapping people inside. The penalty for non-compliant installs is the inspector failing your permit and requiring re-installation at your expense. Every LiftMaster opener we install includes the battery backup module by default.

Smart features that actually matter.

MyQ Wi-Fi lets you open, close, and monitor the door from your phone, set auto-close timers (helpful when you drove off without checking), and grant temporary access to people. Amazon Key for Garage integration lets packages get delivered into the garage instead of left on the porch. It works on every Wi-Fi-enabled LiftMaster we install.

Warranty + service.

LiftMaster's manufacturer warranty covers 5 years on motors (lifetime on Pro-series motors), 1 year on parts. Our install workmanship is covered for 1 year on top of that. If a part fails inside the window, we handle the warranty replacement — you don't deal with the manufacturer.
