How we use text messaging to communicate with you, what to expect, and how to opt out at any time.

1. Who we are
This SMS Messaging Policy describes the text-messaging practices of Lift Kings Garage Doors, a Florida-licensed contractor (FL DBPR License #CGC1530231) operating out of Lantana, FL and Loxahatchee, FL. Throughout this policy, "Lift Kings," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Lift Kings Garage Doors.
2. What this policy covers
This policy explains how we use SMS (text messaging) to communicate with customers and prospects who have voluntarily provided their mobile number through our website, over the phone, in person, or while booking service. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
3. The types of messages we send
If you opt in to receive text messages from Lift Kings, you may receive any of the following:
- Appointment confirmations — confirming the date and time of your scheduled service.
- Technician arrival updates — notifying you when your technician is en route, the name of the tech assigned, and the expected arrival window.
- Service reminders — annual tune-up reminders, hurricane-season checkups, or maintenance follow-ups.
- Quote and invoice notifications — alerting you when a written quote or invoice is ready for your review.
- Customer service replies — responses from our team when you text us directly.
- Occasional promotional offers — seasonal discounts, bundle specials, or referral-program announcements, sent no more often than twice per month.
We never send messages on behalf of third parties, and we do not send messages unrelated to garage door service.
4. Message frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your service activity. A typical service request generates between 1 and 4 messages. Customers who have opted into promotional messages may receive up to 2 additional messages per month. Frequency is recurring.
5. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Lift Kings does not charge you to send or receive text messages, but your wireless carrier may charge you for each message sent or received, depending on the terms of your mobile plan. Contact your carrier with questions about rates.
6. How to opt out (STOP)
You can opt out of receiving text messages from Lift Kings at any time, with no cost or penalty.
- Reply STOP to any text message we send you (you may also reply
UNSUBSCRIBE,CANCEL,END, orQUIT). - You will receive one final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will not receive any further marketing or promotional text messages from us.
- If you have an active appointment, we may still send transactional service messages (technician arrival updates, etc.) until your service is complete, as those are necessary to fulfill the service you requested.
- You may opt back in at any time by texting START, UNSTOP, or by re-submitting an opt-in checkbox on our website.
7. How to get help (HELP)
Reply HELP to any text message we send and you will receive a reply with:

8. How we obtain your consent
We only send marketing or promotional text messages to people who have given us express written consent — meaning you affirmatively checked an opt-in box on our website, signed a paper or electronic consent form, or otherwise explicitly told us in writing that you wanted to receive texts. We log the date, time, IP address, the exact wording of the consent shown to you, and the page URL where consent was given.
Providing your phone number for service-related purposes (such as so we can call to confirm an appointment) is not consent to receive marketing text messages. SMS consent is always a separate, optional checkbox — and consent is never required as a condition of purchasing or using our services.
9. Service-related (transactional) messages
If you book a service appointment by phone, online form, or in person, we may send you transactional messages necessary to deliver that service — including appointment confirmations, technician arrival updates, and quote/invoice notifications. These are considered necessary to fulfill the service you requested and are sent regardless of whether you opted in to marketing SMS. If you do not want to receive even transactional messages, please tell our dispatcher or reply STOP and we will switch to phone or email communication instead.
10. Privacy and data sharing
We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your mobile phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not share opt-in data or the consent records described above with any third party except the SMS service provider we use to send messages on our behalf (currently a service that supports A2P 10DLC carrier registration and adheres to CTIA messaging guidelines).

11. Carrier disclaimer
Wireless carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, Metro by T-Mobile, and Google Fi) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is best-effort and depends on your carrier's network and your device's availability.
12. Eligibility
To opt in to SMS messages from Lift Kings, you must be at least 18 years old, be the account holder or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided, and reside in the United States. By opting in, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this SMS Messaging Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued participation in our SMS program after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. Material changes will be communicated by SMS to active subscribers prior to the change taking effect.
