Garage door remote replacement.

Same-day Palm Beach County dispatch. Written warranty. Eric answers.

Lost a remote? Worn-out? Need an extra? Garage door remote replacement is one of our quickest service calls — most done in 10-15 minutes. We carry brand-specific remotes (LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Craftsman) plus universal remotes that pair with most opener brands.

Modern remotes (post-2011 manufacturer dates) use Security+ 2.0 rolling-code encryption — much harder to clone than older fixed-code remotes. We default to the matching brand-specific remote for warranty and security reasons. Universal remotes are fine when the original brand isn't available.

If your remote was lost (especially after vehicle theft or other security concern), we recommend re-pairing the opener and clearing all stored remote codes. This invalidates any cloned or remaining old remotes and prevents unauthorized access. The re-pair and code clear is included with any remote replacement service.

FAQ

Common questions.

Will any remote work with my opener?

Generally same-brand remotes pair best. Universal remotes work with most major brands. We confirm compatibility before recommending.

Can I program my own remote?

Yes if you have the manual. Most LiftMaster/Chamberlain: press 'Learn' button on opener, then press remote button within 30 seconds. Genie: similar process with 'Set' button. We do it for free if you're already on a service call.

Why doesn't my remote work from far away anymore?

Most likely a dying battery — replace the CR2032 (most remotes use this). If a new battery doesn't help, the remote's antenna may be damaged or the opener's receiver module is weak.

What if I lost all my remotes — can someone get in?

Theoretically yes if they have a working remote. We strongly recommend re-pairing the opener and clearing all stored remote codes ($45 standalone, free with remote replacement). This invalidates any old/cloned remotes.
