Verifying Lift Kings

How to confirm we're who we say we are.

Most homeowners never check the credentials of the contractor they call. We think you should — and we make it easy to verify everything we claim. Every Lift Kings credential listed on this page is independently confirmable through Florida's Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) website. Click the verify links and read the actual government record.

Florida General Contractor license.

License #CGC1530231 is a Certified General Contractor license, the highest residential construction credential issued by the Florida DBPR. Earning it requires passing a state board exam, providing financial responsibility documentation, and proving four years of supervisory construction experience. Maintaining it requires continuing-education credits every two years. The license is verifiable on the FL DBPR public database — link at the top of this page.

General liability insurance.

We carry $2,000,000 in general liability coverage. If a tech damages your property — drops a panel on your car, scrapes drywall, breaks a window — our policy covers the repair. We can email you a certificate of insurance (COI) before any tech arrives at your home. Just ask when you book.

Bonded.

Our bonding policy covers PBC homeowners against contractor non-completion or substandard work. If we accept payment for a job and fail to complete it to FL Building Code standards, the bonding company makes you whole. Required for the General Contractor license, but worth mentioning because most one-truck operations cut corners on this.

Why this matters in Palm Beach County.

Florida is one of the most contractor-fraud-prone states in the US. After every hurricane, FL DBPR opens hundreds of complaints against unlicensed contractors who took deposits and disappeared. The DBPR license is your protection: an unlicensed contractor can't pull permits, can't file insurance claims on your behalf, and isn't bound by FL consumer-protection law. Verify before you write a check — to us, or anyone.

Real license. Real insurance. Real Eric.

The verification trail is the whole point. Ask anytime.
