1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Lift Kings Garage Doors ("Lift Kings," "we," "us," "our"). By accessing liftkings.com, requesting a quote, scheduling service, or otherwise interacting with us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and SMS Messaging Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site or our services.

2. Who we are

Lift Kings Garage Doors is a Florida-licensed garage door installation and repair contractor (FL DBPR License #CGC1530231) headquartered at 407 South 3rd Street, Unit 3, Lantana, FL 33462. We operate two service offices: Lantana, FL and Loxahatchee, FL. Our primary service area is Palm Beach County, Florida.

3. Quotes and pricing

Any pricing shown on the Site (including "from $X" ranges in service pages, cost guides, and specials) is an estimate based on typical jobs in Palm Beach County. Final pricing is always provided in writing on-site before any work begins. Site prices are not a binding offer until a written quote is delivered and signed (or electronically confirmed) by you.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing based on the actual scope of work, parts required, accessibility, building-code requirements (including Florida Building Code wind-load specifications), and any unforeseen conditions discovered during diagnosis.

4. Booking and scheduling

Submitting a booking form on the Site does not create a contract. It creates a service request that we will confirm by phone, text, or email. A booking is not confirmed until we have communicated confirmation to you. Same-day availability is best-effort and depends on technician schedule and dispatch zone.

5. Cancellation and rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule any appointment by calling or texting us at (561) 710-5464. We ask for at least 2 hours' notice when possible so we can re-route our technician. We do not charge a cancellation fee for residential service appointments under normal circumstances, though we reserve the right to charge a trip fee for repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations.

6. Warranty

Our standard workmanship warranty is one year from the date of service. Parts warranties vary by manufacturer and are passed through to you as stated by the manufacturer (typically 1–5 years on opener motors, lifetime on Clopay steel doors). Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, vehicle impact, vandalism, severe weather (other than as covered by your homeowner's insurance), neglected maintenance, or modifications by other parties. 7. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of work unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, check, all major credit cards, and offer financing through approved third-party providers (see Financing). Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee plus collection costs.

8. Florida Building Code compliance

Installations performed in Florida are completed in compliance with the Florida Building Code (FBC) currently in effect, including wind-load requirements for residential garage doors. For hurricane-rated installs, we provide product approval documentation (NOA numbers) and can assist with Florida wind-mitigation form (OIR-B1-1802) preparation and My Safe Florida Home grant filings.

9. Communications and SMS

When you provide your phone number to us, you authorize us to call or text you regarding your service request. Marketing or promotional text messages require separate, affirmative opt-in via a clearly labeled checkbox on our website forms; see our SMS Messaging Policy for full details on what messages we send, how often, and how to opt out (Reply STOP at any time).

10. Use of the Site

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and only as permitted by these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair it
• Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device to access the Site for any purpose without our written permission
• Introduce any viruses, trojans, worms, or other malicious material
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, or disrupt any part of the Site or its servers
• Submit false information through any form on the Site
• Use Site content (text, images, code) for commercial purposes without our written permission

11. Intellectual property

All Site content — text, photos, illustrations, logos, code, and design — is owned by Lift Kings or used under license, and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. "Lift Kings," "Lift Kings Garage Doors," and our logo are trademarks of Lift Kings. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any Site content without our written permission. Customer reviews displayed on the Site are pulled live from Google Places API and remain the property of their authors.

12. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make reasonable efforts to ensure pricing, availability, and product information are accurate, but cannot guarantee that the Site is error-free or always available.

Use of any DIY troubleshooting guidance on the Site (including blog posts and resource pages) is at your own risk. Garage doors operate under high tension; spring repair and similar work should be performed only by trained professionals. Lift Kings is not liable for damage, injury, or loss resulting from DIY work attempted based on Site content.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lift Kings's total liability arising from your use of the Site or any service we provide will not exceed the amount you paid for that service (or, for free Site use, $100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lift Kings, its owners, employees, technicians, and agents from any claim or demand arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site or our services will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Before filing any legal action, you agree to first contact us in writing to attempt good-faith resolution of the dispute. We commit to responding to any written complaint within 14 calendar days.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
