Written warranty on every job

The warranty is on paper. Always.

Every repair, every install, every part — backed by a written warranty on your invoice and registered to your address.

What's covered, by job type

Spring repairs & replacements

1 year on every spring we install — parts and labor included.

Springs fail. It's physics. Our 1-year warranty covers a spring that fails prematurely from material defect or improper tension, regardless of cause. We come back and fix it on our dime.

Cables, rollers, hardware

1 year standard galvanized
2 years stainless-steel coastal-grade hardware

Cable failures from rust, fraying, or fitting separation are covered. Re-tracking and re-roller jobs include the same 1-year coverage.

Garage door openers

1 year Lift Kings install warranty (labor + parts)
Manufacturer warranty passes through to you on every part — typically 5 years on LiftMaster motors

We register the manufacturer warranty to your address at install — you don't have to do anything. If a part fails inside its window, we coordinate the warranty replacement at no labor cost to you for the first year.

New garage door installations

1 year Lift Kings install warranty (labor + workmanship)
10 years Clopay / Amarr / Wayne Dalton manufacturer warranty (most series)

Manufacturer warranties cover sections, panels, paint, and structural integrity. We handle the warranty claim and replacement on your behalf if a covered failure occurs.

Hurricane-rated installs

1 year Lift Kings install warranty (labor + workmanship)
Manufacturer warranty on FL Product Approval-listed doors against hurricane wind-load failure (subject to manufacturer terms)

If our hurricane-rated install fails during a code-defined wind event and the door was within spec, we replace it. Period. This is the warranty that My Safe Florida Home grant participation requires.

What's NOT covered

Honest list — most contractors hide it:

  • Damage from impact (car, lawn equipment, hurricane debris) — that's insurance, not warranty
  • Cosmetic damage from normal wear after 1 year (small dents, paint chips)
  • Failures from homeowner-attempted repairs or modifications
  • Springs replaced under warranty more than twice in 1 year (we'll come look — usually a balance issue we can fix permanently)
  • Pre-existing hardware we didn't install (we'll inspect and quote, but won't warranty other people's work)
