A standard suburban garage door install is straightforward — 16x7 double, replace existing, done in 4 hours. Out here, that's a small minority of what we do. Here's the actual scope of Acreage and west-PBC installs:

Triple-bay attached garages

The most common Acreage configuration is one 16x7 or 18x8 double-car door plus a single 9x7 or 10x8 — three bays, two openers. Installed all at once with matched finishes: $4,800-$7,200 for the door package, $1,200-$1,800 for two LiftMaster openers, permits and haul-away included.

Non-standard heights (9' & 10')

Tall ceilings to fit trucks, RVs, boat trailers, and lifted vehicles. We routinely install 8-foot, 9-foot, and 10-foot tall doors. Spring spec, track length, and opener clearance all change. Premium over standard 7-foot height: $245-$485 per bay.

Detached pole-barn doors

Workshop, garage-apartment, RV cover — many Acreage properties have a detached structure separate from the house. These often need 16x10 or even 18x12 doors with heavy-duty 1 HP jackshaft openers and high-lift conversion. Quote varies $4,500-$9,500 depending on size and finish.

Wellington equestrian carriage-house styles

Wellington's deed-restricted equestrian communities (Palm Beach Polo, Versailles, Olympia) require approved carriage-house door styles to maintain community aesthetics. We install Clopay Coachman and Reserve Collection doors in approved patterns, handle the HOA submission, and coordinate with the community ARC. Typical install: $6,500-$12,000.

Hurricane-rated for new-construction Westlake

Westlake is the newest PBC city — all new construction means current code on day one. We install impact-rated doors on most new homes here, often coordinated with the builder. Permit and inspection are seamless on new-build.
